Trouble Shooting - Frequently Asked Questions

A1. Why does the light not work?
 Q1.

If the light does not turn on after inserting it in a sunny area for 2 - 3 days, please try the following steps:

1. Battery Loose – Please take the light into the house.  Turn the light upside down to cover the sensor. Take out the batteries; clean the batteries and the connector with a dry cloth.  Put back the batteries in the right position.  If the light turns on automatically, that means the light is working.  It is just the batteries loose, or some dust blockage between the batteries and the connector.

2. Bad BatteryChange the batteries from a Solar Light with good light batteries.  If the light turns on automatically, that means it’s the batteries problem.  Change to new batteries.

3.  Wrong Location – Mostly there are two ways affecting the light if it doesn’t turn on at night.  The sensor is very sensitive.  If the light is too close to some brightness area, it will not light up automatically.

Another reason could be because the light is under a shaded area.  The light can’t receive enough sunlight in the daytime.  If the light is under these circumstances, please consider changing the location.

  4. Bad Light – After the above steps, the light still doesn’t turn on at night. This is a bad light. We will change it for a new light.
